Last week Nintendo released its latest annual report and it makes for some interesting reading - especially for 3DS fans.
The report - released every year - is a document which covers key financial data, examines trends, and explains research and development activities.
The sales figures are the most interesting feature this year, with the 3DS outperforming the Wii U in both hardware and software by approximately 2:1.

Also in the report is the mention of a new product that will aim to improve the user's quality of life.
Nintendo's aim is to enable consumers to make daily efforts to improve their QOL [Quality of Life]in a fun manner by making sleep and fatigue status visible and offering various services based on this information.
